Join S.W.A.T.

The Spark Worldwide Ambassador Team tries to accept only Sparkers who possess certain qualities (and regrettably, these Sparkers are surprisingly few). There are a few things required of all who wish to join S.W.A.T., which will be determined by all current S.W.A.T. team members during your Enlistment Evaluation. These initial requirements are listed below. You must have:

• A good reputation in the Spark Community thus far,

• A desire to help the community in a specific way,

• Willingness to take direction and carry out specific instructions, and

• Ability to take constructive criticism without getting butt-hurt.

Those are just the basic few things we look for when selecting new S.W.A.T. team members. If you find yourself compelled to become a S.W.A.T. Officer (as opposed to an Enlistee), you should have these next few qualities in addition to what is listed above:

• Apparent and intangible leadership qualities (most admins qualify), and

• Ability to devote considerable time to develop S.W.A.T. in its early stages.

Now that we've gotten the prerequisites of membership out of the way, here's how you actually join. The best way to join is to be noticed by a current S.W.A.T. Officer and invited directly; but you can also just approach a current S.W.A.T. Officer and prompt them to set your Enlistment Evaluation in motion. Either way, you must be evaluated, and subsequently, a vote will be taken on your proposed enlistment into our ranks.

The S.W.A.T. Enlistment Evaluation consists of current S.W.A.T. Officers discussing your potential to be a worthy addition to the Team, discussing what purpose (if any) you could perform for the S.W.A.T., and finally, a vote among the S.W.A.T. Officers (not every S.W.A.T. member, just the Officers) on whether or not we should invite you to the Team. Once you are invited to the team (if such should be the case), you will be informed of your new rank, given a signature image for forums and whatnot, assigned your new duties, and we will throw you an exclusive e-Party in the private S.W.A.T. IRC channel. Congrats!
